Description:   Dumped filling of late 2nd c. B.C.; Roman Group F, dumped filling of second quarter to end of 1st c. B.C. on the lower northeast slope of the Areopagus.
Diameter at bottom -3.20m
Contents:   Upper fill: Latest coins are Augustan. Stamped amphora handles earlier. Absence of Arretine pottery indicates deposit before ca. 10B.C. Much mixed with middle filll. Mold for long-petal bowl.
Middle fill: Three Knidian stamped amphora handles. Two coins of 87/86 and several more either of 87/86 or slightly earlier.
