Title:   Metope Fragment with Mason's Mark

Description:   Broken at left, right and below. Rough-picked back preserved. A smooth relieving band runs along the front edge of the top surface. Rest of surface slightly higher and dressed with a toothed chisel. Mason's mark incised on this surface, a large Δ.
From the Temple of Ares.
Pentelic marble.
