Title:   Curved Block with Crowning Molding

Description:   Chipped; upper back right corner broken away. Above and right side worked with small toothed chisel, the same on the left side but an anathyrosis is left here. Back and below left rough. At left edge, half of a clamp-cutting. The crowning molding has at its base two ridges in high relief and a protruding taenia at its upper part.
Pentelic marble.
Notes:   Believed buried by engineers in Stoa of Attalos reconstruction (HAT, 11 July 1958).
