Title:   Monument Fragment

Description:   Large end broken all around. Small end has joint surface with anathyrosis at back. A round hole in small end 0.05m. from joint surface contains remains of iron pin.
The omphalos-shaped small end curves out to a flange below which the same curve is repeated. Below the second flange the surface begins to curve in. The small end decorated with zigzag and saw tooth bands in low relief.
Represent incense burner/plemochoe with penetrated lid.
Pentelic marble.
