Description: | From same series as A 2837 but not inscribed. Broken in two pieces and fragments missing from both edges. It top as preserved there remain only a lewis hole and a trace of a clamp hole near right edge. Dowel holes in bottom 0.23m. from left edge and 0.20m. from right edge. Pentelic marble. In addition to the six fairly complete orthostates of the series of A 2837, there are three additional fragments (one from top and two from bottom) that prove the existence of at least one more example. | |
