Title:   Ceiling Coffer Fragment

Description:   Broken on all sides. Preserved is part of lower surface of coffered beam of type B. Carved bead and reel, which is 0.049m. back from front edge of lower fascia. Inner surface has sequence: lower fascia, lower ovolo, upper fascia, and upper ovolo. Latter element preserves inside corner of coffer. Only very faint traces of paint on lower ovolo.
From Parthenon.
Pentelic marble.
