a) Preserves the lower edge of the abacus and the upper edge of the echinus.

Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA Published as pieces from the Stoa of Zeus Eleutherios. Initially though to be from the Royal Stoa.
Context:   Found in late Roman filling along front of Stoa.
