Title:   Orthostate Block

Description:   Top half of block broken off; elsewhere all faces preserved.
A regulation orthostate with carefully worked anathyrosis at the ends. A dowel cutting at each junction of the bottom and sides. The bottom carefully worked, with a raised bearing surface, which stops 0.018m. from the face of the block.
Assigned to the Temple of Ares.
Pentelic marble.
