Half of rim and flange and part of dome restored; top of knob missing.

Domed lid with horizontal flange, vertical rim. Hollow, pear-shaped knob. Red tongues on flange; black band at junction of flange and dome; red bead and reel with pink band above it on dome; another red band further up; horizontal black and red stripes on knob. Coarse, reddish yellow fabric (5YR 6/4) with abundant mica and black, red, and white inclusions; dull, chalk-white lime wash outside only (reacts with hydrochloric acid).
