One handle and part of wall and rim.

Nearly vertical wall turning in toward bottom. Inwardly beveled rim.

Strap handle with added strip of clay around arch. Thin scraped groove at level of handle attachment and below rim. Traces of decoration: three painted dots and incised line on one side of handle; incised line on other side of handle. Fairly hard, extremely micaceous, light reddish brown fabric (5YR 6/4); somewhat shiny, gritty red glaze, also extremely micaceous (2.5YR 5/8).

Shape as Pergamene sigillata but of poor quality. Cf. PF VI, Type S 1, pp. 63--64, pl. 7; PF VII, Form 2, pp. 23--24, fig. 5.
