Rim missing; small sections of flange and wall restored.

Sloping top with scraped groove at junction with flange and above mid-height. Flange slopes upward; scraped groove at outer edge. Knob handle: top concave at center, with groove around edge. Decoration in orange with white overpainting in two registers on dome separated by scraped groove. Orange lozenges radiate from knob in upper register.

In lower register, three pairs of antithetical leaping dolphins flank and alternate with three-leaved palmettes. Trace of one white dot rosette preserved; possibly palmettes were flanked by them.

Micaceous, light red fabric (2.5YR 6/8); hard, lustrous red glaze (2.5YR 5/6), flaking on inside.
