Small part of rim restored.

Beveled resting surface; pointed underside. Scraped groove at base of wall. Flaring wall, plain rim. Wall slightly offset from floor.

Four palmettes within rouletting. Dull black glaze.

Similar shape: P 4183 (E 15:2), P 19896 (D 17:5, lower fill). A closely related stamp, but smaller, on P 6260 (E 14:1, lower fill). A seemingly identical stamp on 664, on 895 (somewhat more worn), and on P 18723 (M 21:1) (much more worn). The offset of the wall is remarkably strong for this period, but context and stamp suggest a 3rd-century date.
