Fragment of top side of lid with start of brim. Glazed on underside. Trace of central hole for metal lifting ring. Max. dim. 0.064.

Head of woman (neck, fringe of hair, mostly covered by a sakkos decorated with dot clusters) to left. Double row of dots for necklace. Trace of pattern on brim (chevrons). Preliminary sketch.

For the chevron pattern surrounding the woman's head, see 1028, and the namepiece of the Painter of Florence 4217 (ARV2 1222, ---, 2). 1025 is similar but more carefully drawn.
