Fragment of reversible lid with part of rim. Glazed on underside.

Swan (head, neck, part of wing) to right, facing a panther (most of left foreleg and hind leg, part of hindquarters, all of tail missing) with right foreleg raised. Plant between the two and a stone on the ground below the panther. On rim, egg pattern with dots. Dilute glaze: markings on fur and feathers.
Perhaps from the Group of the Vienna Lekanis. Cf. especially the felines on Salonika inv. 38.137 (ARV2 1501, ---, 1).
