Three non-joining fragments of outturned rim and wall, c with start of handle. Max. dim. a) 0.092, b) 0.084, c) 0.052.
Fragment a preserves most of a youth (feet missing) standing to right, wearing a himation and facing another (drapery). Behind him is a bit of the handle decoration. Fragment b shows a similar youth (part of drapery, feet missing) standing to left. Behind him is a little of the handle ornament. This youth comes from the other side of the vase, because the folds of drapery on the right of fragment a will not connect with those on fragment b. Fragment c (not illustrated) shows part of a palmette below the handle.
The Kalymnos Painter (ARV2 1494, ---, 2).
