Two non-joining fragments, a of lip and bowl, b of bowl from near start of stem. Reserved line on inside and outside at rim. Glaze on interior of figure and fronds of palmette flaked in places. Max. dim. a) 0.05, b) 0.063.

Komos. Fragment a (illustrated) preserves most of the wreathed head, torso, and left arm of a komast to left, who holds a cup with an offset lip in his left hand. Behind him, two fronds of the handle palmette. Above:

Skythes (ARV2 one 74, 14; ARV2 84, 15). The youth on 1402 was probably similar to the one on side B of Louvre G 76 (ARV2 84, 16). The ornament at the handle was very likely similar to that on a cup by Skythes once in the Basel Market (Münzen und Medaillen. Aukt. 51, 14./15. März, 1975, pl. 34, no. 149).
