Floor fragment. Max. dim. 0.085; est. outer diam. of tondo 0.13.
I, youth (head with fillet, back, right arm akimbo) standing to left. Around the tondo, stopped-maeander pattern with cross-squares. A, man (legs with himation, feet) standing to left, perhaps looking back, because in front of him is part of the handle ornament (tendril). Reserved line below figures. White: fillet.
The Painter of London E 777 (ARV2 940, 18). The composition of I was probably very similar to that in the tondo of these two in Montauban by the Painter of London E 777: Montauban 18 (ARV2 940, 20); Montauban 15 (ARV2 943, 61). I know these from Bothmer's photographs.
