Bowl and lip fragment with start of stem on underside. Strengthened with plaster. Reserved line on inside at rim. Est. diam. at rim 0.24; P.H. 0.058; outer diam. of tondo 0.128. H. A. Thompson, Hesperia Suppl. IV, p. 129, fig. 96.

I, satyr and maenad. The satyr (right side of body, leg, and tail missing) stands to right, holding a tray of fruit on his left forearm. He looks at the maenad who faces him, wearing a peplos, her left hand on her hip. She holds a thyrsos in her right hand. Around the tondo is a stopped-maeander pattern with cross-squares. A, Dionysos with satyr and maenad. Dionysos stands frontally, wreathed head turned to left, a cloak over his left shoulder coming around his back and held in his right hand. In his left hand (missing) he has a staff or a thyrsos. He looks at a satyr (legs, end of tail). On the right of Dionysos is a maenad (part of chiton with a nebris over it) standing to left. B, satyr and Dionysos(?). The satyr (left shoulder missing) stands to left, holding a staff or thyrsos in his left hand, his right outstretched toward the figure in front of him (legs) who has a thyrsos (part of shaft, all of tip). In front of this figure are a bit of the lower drapery of a maenad and most of her left foot resting on a block. Under the handle, palmette-and-spiral configuration (part of B/A). Below the figures, two reserved lines. Preliminary sketch. Dilute glaze: satyr's tail on B.
