Fragment preserving part of flat mouth, ridged handle, neck, and body. Thin, brownish black glaze on inside. Much of the glaze on the outside misfired reddish; abraded in places, especially on the figure of Zeus. P.H. 0.125; P.W. 0.171. Choes and Anthesteria, p. 83, cat. no. 185, figs. 381, 382.

At the left, the top of a woman's head and a little bit of reserve behind her, which could be part of her raised hand. In front of her, Zeus stands to right, with a cloak over his left shoulder, a wreath around his head, and a scepter in his left hand. He is preserved from about the waist up. Directly in front of him, an eagle (end of beak, part of left wing missing) flies to right. Between the staff and the eagle:

Above the figures, frieze of upright encircled palmettes from which olive leaves with fruit project. White: inscription. Added clay: fruit. Traces of gilding on eagle.
