Palaestra. At the left, a nude youth comes in holding halt&U+0113;res; then there is the trainer standing frontally in a decorated himation, his staff in his raised right hand. He looks to right toward a nude youth (legs, both hands), who holds two javelins in his left hand, his right outstretched. Before this youth sits a shaggy dog looking up at him. Below, egg pattern with dots. Dilute glaze: hair of dog.
