Two non-joining wall fragments. Max. dim. a) 0.102, b) 0.043.

Fragment a (illustrated) preserves the lower drapery and slippered feet of a woman seated to right, her feet resting on a very low platform. Before her a man (lower part of chiton, feet) stands frontally, probably with head turned towards her. Behind him, a youth or boy (lower part of chiton, feet) stands to left, holding a knucklebone bag, a sponge, and a strigil. Fragment b shows a little of the figured decoration on the far

left at the break (uncertain what it is). Below the figures, egg pattern with dots, the eggs having a double contour. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. Dilute glaze: stripe on youth's chiton; knucklebone bag.

For the knucklebone bag, see 702; for the egg pattern, see 691.
