Lower part of body. Glaze slightly misfired below figure. P.H. 0.054. C. Boulter, Hesperia 22, 1953, p. 70, cat. no. 15, pl. 25.
A woman (from the waist down) dressed in a chiton and himation runs to left, holding out something in her right hand that looks like the end of a torch or thyrsos, more likely the former since she holds it near the end.
Perhaps by the Seireniske Painter [Boulter, Hesperia 22, 1952, p. 70: cf. Cairo 26208: ARV2 704, 62]; cf. also Louvre G 586 (ARV2 703, 34).
