All of mouth and foot, most of neck, part of shoulder, and much of body missing. Mended from many fragments. Glaze below figured zone fired brownish. P.H. 0.17; diam. at shoulder 0.078.

Youth at tomb. The youth, dressed in a himation, stands to right, looking back at the tumulus and stele (base of each missing). Above, key pattern to right. On the shoulder: rays; above, tongue pattern. Reserved line below picture. Matte drawing: yellowish brown for outlines and hair.

The combination of the stele and tumulus belongs to Nakayama's Group GH-I (Nakayama, Lekythen, pp. 253--254) and seems particularly similar to the one on Athens, N.M. 1780 by the Tymbos Painter (ARV2 757, 82; Nakayama, p. 186, cat. no. GH-I-14 and pl. 1).
