Description: | From a krater. Purple red on buff, partial figure of a horse. Cf. AP 2669, AP 2670. ADDENDA 2018: Ten sherds mended into five fragments of a large krater with horizontal, flat rim. The exterior decoration consists of a painted lip with a medum band running below the rim. The handle zone is panelled with side triglyphs with vertical zigzag fill. In the central panel, the decoration is pictorial and features antithetically placed sphinxes. The interior features a double band below the rim. The flat surface of the rim is monochrome.
