Description: | From a pitcher with a rope handle and slender neck. Black on pale buff. ADDENDA 2018: Two sherds mended into a single fragment from a small jug with flaring, slightly hollowed lip, and a single, vertical twisted handle. The exterior is monochrome. The interior has a narrow band running below the lip. The paint is thick, evenly applied, but badly flaked, fired black. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 137 | |
