Title:   Candelabrum Top
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Τμήμα χάλκινου λυχνοστάτη με ένθετη αργυρή φυτική διακόσμηση 3ος αι. μ.Χ.
Category:   Bronze
Description:   Two pieces of upper part of a candelabrum.
Topmost has leaf pattern directly below flaring rim. Below this is zone of inlaid silver leaves and stems with berrils of silver and some other inlay now missing.
Knob has six bosses, in the panels between which are relief boukrania.
Hole in bottom for attachment with second piece. Lower portion has remains of attachment on top, to fit with the other piece (?).
Convex moulding in center and below this a widely flaring piece, concave beneath.
ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Τμήμα λυχνοστάτου, με αργυρή επίθετη, φυτική διακόσμηση. Αποτελείται από δύο συνενούμενα τμήματα.
Context:   South house, room 12, N.W. quadrant, strosis with burning above pebble mosaic.
