Title:   Mycenaean Bronze Dagger

Description:   Three joining fragments: blade and lower hilt joined, upper hilt and pommel broken off. Three rivets preserved along handle.
Broad blade, tapering from shoulder to midpoint, then parallel sided before curving to tip. Straight hilt with small flat pommel, curving round top and ends. Hilt and upper blade edged by flange.
Bronze.
Context:   Mycenaean Chamber Tomb.
Handling:   rested on a hard board in ethafoam, covered with acid free tissue, the packing is then inserted in a transparent polyethylene bag
