Description:   Herm used as handle of a bronze vessel, slanting diagonally out from rim.
The fragment of rim to which it is attached is badly corroded as are the back and lower sides of the herm. The face from the eyes to chin is also gone; the left eyebrow, the right eye, and the end of the chin are preserved. The stubs representing arms remain.
The surface of the head, neck and chest is well preserved with a fine patina.
The front of the pillar is inlaid with silver in a stylized floral pattern.
The head held high on a slender neck has hair bound with a fillet. Bangs fall over the forehead in large locks. Two ends of hair come out from under the fillet and lie on the neck beneath the ears.
