Title:   One-Handled Glass Jug

Description:   Two joining fragments of neck and handle; no finished edge preserved.
Flaring mouth (rim probably rounded); rim coil; strap handle, folded against mouth and rim-coil. Neck expands towards sloping shoulder.
Pale blue-green glass.
4th century A.D. probaby residual in context.

Context:   Built shaft, with context pottery ca. 430/40-460 A.D. (per J.W.H.)
Handling:   A storage mount was made for the piece consisting of a plastic box lined with ethafoam and supported by ethafoam wedges.
