Title:   Fragmentary Squat Jug: Subgeometric
Description:   Large portion of the body at one side, handle, and most of neck and mouth missing. Ring foot; well-rounded body curving continuously into short, straight neck; flaring trefoil mouth (apparently) . Bands and a careless double-lozenge chain on lower body; upper body reserved and decorated, left to right: striding lion to left, mouth open and one leg extended straight out; man to left, his arms outstretched (both hands missing); the man is standing on the tail of an animal (deer or horse?) with long tail (neck and head missing); groups of short wavy lines in field. Two glaze bands on inside of neck, otherwise unglazed inside.
Dull glaze, brow where thick, red where thin.
