Title:   Grave Monument Fragment

Description:   Part of an inscribed block.
Top and bottom surfaces preserved; sides and back broken. Bottom rough picked, and partially smoothed with toothed chisel. Top chipped and worn; in it, two sinkings, one rectangular, rough picked, the other round, worn smooth, as if from use as a door socket.
Pentelic marble.
Notes:   Pre-excavation.
Context:   Found in the modern wall of the house 636/24, over the area of the Civic Offices.
