Title:   Dedication Fragment
Category:   Inscriptions
Description:   Inscribed fragment of relief.
Back surface much broken, but thickeness apparently preserved.
The fragment is separated into two parts by a horizontal moulding, consisting of a flattened ovolo and a taenia.
The fragmentary inscription is on this last.
Above, a satyr (head and shoulders missing) is seated on a rock covered by a goat skin. He faces left, playing the pipes. In front of him a blazing fire rises from the ground.
Below, little remains save a fish, leaping to inscription, from beside a tower-like object, the latter in very low relief. To the left, two indistinguishable breaks, one toward the center, the other at the left edge on the piece.
Pentelic marble.
