Description:   Inscribed stele.
Complete pedimented stele, preserved with tongue at bottom for setting into cutting. Back rough.
Diaitetai record; archonship of Charikleides; a reconciliation agreement between the Salaminians from the seven tribes and from Sunium. Mentions Athena Skiras, Herakles Epi Porthmoi, Eurysakes, Aglauros, Pandrosos, Kourotrophos, the market place in Koile, Oskophoroi, Deipnophoroi, sacrifical rights, perquisites of priests and priestesses, the hero Epiteihalei, the archon of the Salaminians, and gives a sacrificial calendar arranged by months.
Thirty-eight letters to line remain; stoichedon.
At bottom, eighty letters to line preserved.

Context:   Found in mouth of cistern C 9:7 south of the Hephaisteion, used as cover in filling up well C 9:16, dug through this cistern.
