Description:   Inscribed fragment of stele.
Inscribed face, top back and left face preserved. Broken at right and bottom.
Prytany decree; the Archon's name "Εργοχάρης" in first preserved line, gives the date.
Seventeen lines of the inscription preserved.
Pentelic marble.
ADDENDA Proves that Dinsmoor's date for the creation of Ptolemais in the year of Ergochares, is impossible.
Context:   Found in a Byzantine wall, west of the Odeion.
