Description:   Inscribed altar.
Both sides and bottom preserved and part of top. It has the rolled edge preserved on the left side. On the right the top of the stone has been cut off. The face and sides show pick marks and anathyrosis, the face being no smoother, altough the part where the letters are, is less rough.
Two lines of the inscription preserved; letters carefully cut.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Found lying on its face in soft earth, in front of north part of the Stoa of Attalos; not connected with any wall.
