Description:		The inscribed blocks are a little west of the center of the wall, and as high above the limestone outcrop on which the wall is bedded as the stone-cutter could conviently reach. The total length of the blocks covered by the inscription is ca. 2.91m. The letters are not very carefully cut in the hard poros, and have suffered much from weathering, and still more perhaps from the activities of the later builders: the valerian wall posibly; the Bastion of Odysseus, certainly ended against the earlier bastion just at this point. The letters seem to have been made with a punch. There are certainly other letters on block 2, at the beggining of line 2; on block 3, at the beginning of line 4, probably also at the beginning of line 3. On the block which lies immediately above and to the left of block 1, there is preserved in the upper right hand corner a single "Σ". The rest of the surface of the stone is completely gone. The letter is smaller than those of OA 214, and quite differently cut, with a triangular tool. Parts of four lines of the inscription preserved.
Context:		Found in cut in wall of Acropolis, on four block (two in each of two courses) of the north face of the ancient (5th, century B.C.?) bastion, west of the Propylaia.
