Description:   Inscribed fragment of columnar base.
Broken at top, but lower part of rectangular rough picked cutting for dedicated object preserved; bit of finished surface on left side demands an oval, not circular column; right side broken on upper surface, rough picked in lower concave part.
Base of Ephebic dedication to Hermes.
Eight lines of the inscription preserved.
Hymettian marble.
ADDENDA Joins at right of I 5285a.
Context:   Found in late wall west of the Panathenaic Way, southwest of the Eleusinion.
