Description: | Inscribed fragment. Rough picked back preserved; broken on all sides. Part of an imperial letter from Marcus Aurelius and Commodus. Thirty-two lines of the inscription preserved. Pentelic marble. ADDENDA Bottom of this piece joins I 64 and I 815, published Hesperia Suppl. 6 (1941), Sacred Gerusia, as no. 24b (p. 108), with the two letters of the text to the last line of new fragment is same line as line 8 of published fragment. A piece in the Epigraphical Museum, EM 2763, Hesperia Suppl. 6 (1941), no. 25a (cast at Agora) joins new fragment at right, with line 12 of new fragment carrying on to line 1 of published text.
