Description:   Inscribed fragments.
Fragment Σ 2054 a), broken above and below. A rectangular pillar, sides and back smooth. On front two crowns. The upper less than half preserved, with no trace of an inscription. The lower practically complete; in it an inscription.
Fragment Σ 2054 b), preserves bottom, with tongue for insertion into base. In wreath, an inscription.
Hymettian marble.
ADDENDA Probably one wreath missing between fragments a) and b), as shown by taper of pillar.
Context:   Found in a wall of the 5th. century A.D. east of the Panathenaic Way, west of the center of the Stoa of Attalos.
