Title:   Capping Stone or Marble Exedra Bench

Description:   Broken on left end, finished with anathyrosis on right end; rough picked on back; very rough worked on bottom. The thickness at the front is less than that at the back.
At the right end on the under side a bearing surface 0.10m. wide was worked so that the top of the slab would lie level. The slab formed the arc of a circle. Its front, concave edge is finished with a cyma reverse.
Inscribed; graffito.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in late Roman context, at the bottom of the west drain, east of the Temple of Apollo Patroos.
