Description:   Inscribed fragment.
A bit of very rough picked surface preserved left side; if original, will be from middle of anathyrosis joint surface; otherwise broken all around.
Break at back a fairly smooth split from left to right, with greatest thickness at left.
Public grave stele of Barbarian archers.
Parts of two columns; five lines of the inscription preserved in left hand one; stoichedon. Sinlgle letter preserved in second column, 0.045m. from end of line at left.
Letter spacing, horizontally: ca. 0.021m.; letter spacing, vertically: ca. 0.025m.
Hymettian marble.

Context:   Found in modern wall, north of the church of the Holyn Apostles, under courtyard.
