Description:   Inscribed fragment.
A roughly oblong block cut from a sizable stele (?); part of the original inscribed face and rough picked back preserved. Left side broken, right side sawn smooth; top possibly original.
Eight lines of the inscription preserved; much weathered.
On the bottom (with respect to the original inscription) is a second inscription in larger letters; five lines preserved, with a leaf below.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of the modern house 639/17 north of the South Stoa II, at its east end. Square M 16.
