Description:   Inscribed fragments.
Fragment Ε 323, lower part of stele inscribed in three columns.
The left side smooth dressed with a shoulder cut near the bottom; the right side more roughly dressed, the back rough picked, the bottom jagged. The lettering of the preserved part divided into three columns symmetrically on the face of the slab, the lowest lines being ca. 0.25m. from the bottom.
A second fragment, Ε 497, joining above, gives the mid part of the stele.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   a) (Ε 323), found in the wall of late pit, in the Metroon Porch, opposite Room II, from south.
b) (Ε 497), found in curbing of well in Metroon Porch, opposite Room II, from south; the fragment earlier found came apparently from the higher curbing of this same well.
