Description:   Complete.
Herringbone on rim, with three impressed circles on either side of the handle, and two on either side of the deep channel leading from discus to nozzle.
On the discus a jewelled cross, with filling holes in the quadrants and one in the center. Handle solid, with deep double grooves. On the reverse double almond-shaped grooves with six impressed circles, and a palm branch between the two letters "Σ Ω", as L 1054, etc.
Unglazed.
Pinkish-buff clay.
Type XXVIII of Corinth collection.
Context:   Inside late lime pit at N.E. corner of ell of "Royal Stoa"; late Roman fill.
