Description:   The top part of the handle missing; the lower part, preserved, has a deep groove down the center.
Similar to L 1130, but with simplified volutes, and with a cross of dots under the nozzle. No extra circle on the discus; a single circle surrounding the signature "A", on the reverse.
Traces of a purple wash; but most of the surface a dark gray from burning. The lamp dented and bent in making.
Clay much burned, redder than L 1132, gray at the core.
Type XX of Corinth collection.
Context:   The five lamps, L 1129-L 1133, all of type XX, were found together, with a quantity of pottery, near the opening into the drain, with coin no. 5. Also from here: L 1150, 1151, P 2446, 2447.
