Description: | Narrow nozzle, nearly square, flat on top, with fairly large wick hole well removed from rim. Broad rim, sloping down slightly toward large central opening; near the outer edge, a shallow groove. Shallow body, curving, forming a sharp angle with the rim. No base preserved; a shallow groove runs round the outside edge, and the surface appears to rise toward the center. Good black glaze. Attic clay. Type VI (early variety) of Corinth collection, type 23B of Agora collection. | |
