Description: | Most of left side preserved. Plain rim, with a single groove. On discus, a shaggy bear, facing right; only the hind quarters preserved. At the upper left there is an inscription incised in the wet clay: "ΦΟΒΟΣ". The bear and the inscription are not in line with the horizontal axis of the lamp. Solid handle, three grooves in front, two behind. Thin purplish-red glaze wash. Brownish clay. Type XXVIII of Corinth collection. | |
