Description:   A crack near nozzle; surface somewhat chipped, otherwise intact. Heavy burning at nozzle.
On rim, circular depressions with dots or circles. On discus, a tree (?).
Handle, unpierced, three grooves above and below. On reverse, heart-shaped groove with volutes, inside which "A".
Thin purplish glaze.
Type XXVIII of Corinth collection.
ADDENDA: Most likely a menorah.
Context:   Late Roman fill just above ash.
