Description: | Part of standard and oil bowl. A heavy stem, slightly hollow in its upper part, rises from a saucer-like base, and at the top flares out to form a shallow oil bowl. A projection, now broken off, rose from the center of this bowl. Just beneath the bowl the stem is slighly swollen and encircled by four parallel grooves. Coarse, yellow clay, unglazed save on the inside of the bowl which shows a dull yellow paint. Type XXXVI of Corinth collection. | |
