Title:   Two Lamps: Waster

Description:   Top lamp intact; lower lamp has only upper part preserved.
Two small lamps, one stacked on the other; warped while being fired.
Top lamp has raised base, curving sides, two grooves around filling hole, pierced lug on left side.
Lower lamp probably similar, but without lug.
Traces of a third lamp that rested on the rim of the top.
Attic clay, now burned to dark gray.
Type VIIB of Corinth collection, type 25B' of Agora collection.
Context:   Bought by R.H. Howland in Shoe Lane, Athens, in 1936. Provenience said to be Athens.
